Job summary

Kyndryl in London is seeking a senior Solutions Architect specializing in mainframe modernization to shape strategy and lead large-scale transformation programs.

You will design frameworks, guide development teams, and ensure architecture aligns with business goals while documenting interfaces and processes. This role demands deep knowledge of z/OS, IBM products, and modern cloud integrations within enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Architectural experience on large customer change and transformation projects.
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software with connectivity between platforms.
• Master Certified Architect or equivalent preferred.
• Hands-on mainframe experience.
• Experience with Modernize On, Integrate With and Move Off mainframe projects.
• Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM/software ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Shape modernization roadmaps considering cost and risk.
• Design frameworks, interfaces and prototypes for enterprise systems.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and enforce enterprise standards.
• Document architecture, processes, and integration guidelines.
