Job summary

Yorkshire Housing seeks a Safeguarding and Outreach Lead to protect customers at risk and make safeguarding part of everyday life across the organisation. You will lead our safeguarding and outreach expert, steer teams through complex cases, and ensure timely, appropriate actions are taken to improve outcomes.

• Must have strong safeguarding expertise including risk assessment and information sharing.
• Experience leading teams, coaching and safeguarding partnerships.
• Ability to turn data, audits and learning into service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the safeguarding team and set clear expectations.
• Own the response to risk and guide complex cases.
• Raise standards through audits, learning and compliance with legal requirements.
• Turn insight into action using data and customer feedback.
• Build partnerships with local authorities and safeguarding agencies.
• Drive the Safeguarding Work Plan and keep policies up to date.
