Job summary

Capital One Europe is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the second line risk management for its Payment Network and merchant businesses. You will challenge processes, advise on regulatory compliance, and ensure alignment with the enterprise risk framework.

You will partner with Business Risk, Legal and Audit to support ongoing network compliance integration, while engaging with senior leaders to drive effective risk management and governance across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Experience in financial services, payments, or compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and challenge on network and merchant compliance risks.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes.
• Analyze laws and regulations against Capital One’s global framework.
• Identify trends in data and evaluate external risk exposures.
• Maintain expertise in payments industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with risk, legal and audit teams to support program integration.
• Ensure compliance for expansions, new products and third parties.
• Build relationships with Business Risk and senior leaders.
