Job summary

Capital One UK is seeking a Senior Director to lead International Regulatory Risk Management for the Global Payment Network. This role oversees global exams, regulatory reporting, and cross-border compliance, driving scalable, governance-driven operations to support international expansion.

You will shape regulatory engagement models, partner with Product, Tech and Legal, and lead blended teams across time zones. A strong track record in risk, PFMI knowledge, and executive influence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership with track record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience in financial services, fintech or payments risk/compliance/audit.
• Experience leading international regulatory engagements and market expansion strategies.
• Deep understanding of global payments regulations and risk governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international regulatory reporting and complex global exams for the Global Payment Network (GPN).
• Lead international change management to meet shifting laws across borders.
• Manage country entrances/exits aligned with business strategy.
• Design and deploy a unified regulatory engagement model with centralized oversight.
• Coordinate globally distributed teams and align regulatory strategies with business priorities.
