Job summary

Capital One UK in Farnborough is seeking a Senior Manager, Account Executive Operations to lead configuration of international systems within the Global Payment Network and to own the risk and control framework for key processes such as settlement. You will manage a team of direct reports and coordinate cross-functional resources.

You will champion continuous improvement, streamline processes, and develop controls to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• People leadership experience including direct management.
• Experience within financial services or payments, especially settlement and system configuration.
• Experience in developing procedures, assessing risks and deploying controls to mitigate financial or regulatory risks.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical issues into clear insights.
• Proven ability to define and track KPIs to measure and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset with solid cross‑functional teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills and focus on short and long‑term goals.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages daily workflow to provide premier internal and external partner support and manages escalations.
• Provides oversight to continuous improvement of risk management, including audits and controls for settlement processes.
• Manages a team and develops their leadership capabilities.
• Plans and prepares team schedules and assigns projects, tasks, and assignments.
• Monitors team performance to ensure goals and company policies are met.
