Job summary

Capital One Europe is seeking a Network Compliance Senior Manager to lead risk management for its network and merchant businesses. The role provides expert compliance advice, challenges processes, and aligns the program with Capital One's enterprise risk framework.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and experience in financial services or payments, with a track record in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working across London/Nottingham is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in compliance, risk, or finance.
• Advanced degree (MBA, LLB, MSc) is desirable for this role.
• Experience in legal, compliance, or risk management within financial services or payments industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and challenge on network and merchant compliance risks across business processes.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes and applicable laws
• Analyse business processes against Capital One's global legal inventory and regulatory requirements
• Identify trends in data and external risks for payments compliance
• Maintain expertise in payments industry regulations and standards
• Collaborate with first and second line functions to adapt risk management framework
• Ensure compliance in new products, down‑stream partnerships, and opportunities
• Build relationships with Business Risk, Legal, and Audit teams to support integration
