Job summary

SATS Group in London Heathrow is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to deliver our L&D strategy across a multi-site operation, covering mandatory training, competency assessment and skills development.

You will lead a team of seven, own the LMS, drive digital training, onboarding, and create digital Work Instructions to boost performance and compliance. A qualification in Education and Training and proven L&D delivery in logistics are essential; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Education and Training.
• Experience delivering L&D in a multi-site Operations/Logistics environment.
• Innovative and change-driven with strong stakeholder management.
• Excellent relationship building and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 7 including L&D Specialists, Operational Skills Trainers, and a Digital Learning Developer.
• Own the Learning Management System ensuring accuracy of records and efficiency of processes.
• Deliver and grow a comprehensive learning aligned with organisation's goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Manage the mandatory training framework, ensuring compliance with CAA regulations and other internal and external requirements.
• Lead the digitalisation plan for Training, creating e-learning and micro-learnings.
• Ensure a comprehensive induction and onboarding experience including on-the-job training.
• Create and deliver digital Work Instructions to ensure high-quality learning programmes.
• Manage and grow the digital competency-based programme of assessments, conduct trend analysis.
• Conduct the annual Training Need Analysis connected to performance reviews and create learning pathways.
