Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, purchasing, procurement, or materials management.
• Experience managing supplies and coordinating availability of materials.
• Practical experience using SAP for purchasing and inventory control.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify stock issues and investigate discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP.
• Track deliveries and resolve shortages or discrepancies.
• Manage the purchasing process from quotations to receipt.
• Coordinate supply of materials to ensure continuity.
• Minimise excess, obsolete, or slow-moving stock.
• Carry out regular stock checks and stocktaking.
• Collaborate with suppliers, finance, warehouse and operations.
• Review supplier performance and lead times.
• Ensure PO, GRN and stock movements are processed promptly.
• Prepare stock and supplier reports using SAP and Excel.
• Follow company procedures for purchasing, inventory control, health and safety.
