Job summary

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst based at the Kent View office in Kendal, UK, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager UK. You will own all stock, including aging stock, and work within a collaborative procurement team to strengthen inventory control and accuracy.

The role supports ongoing corporate Finance and SAP master data activities, with a focus on governance, KPI ownership and continuous improvements in stock management across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Inventory Analyst role.
• Experience using an ERP system, ideally SAP.
• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business or similar would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Group Inventory Governance Model.
• Provide monthly reporting to the Supply Chain Manager UK and Senior Management on inventory turns, accuracy, WIP and credits.
• Set and maintain min/max stock targets with Supply Chain and Warehousing.
• Review and update processes with the Supply Chain Manager.
• Calculate volumetric data and storage requirements with warehousing.
• Own and manage KPIs for all inventory activities and review site performance.
• Provide projected inventory turn targets for a 12-month rolling period.
• Manage inventory input/output models and cycle counting programme.
• Lead and prepare the yearly PI across all sites.
• Undertake monthly stock reconciliations and manage obsolescence.
