Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Materials Control Administrator for a leading logistics client in the UK. The role supports the materials team with procurement and supply chain admin, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

You will resolve invoice queries, assist with scrap processes and maintain SAP-based data, while coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep stock and orders on track. Strong Excel skills and organised work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, materials or administration.
• Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve invoice queries.
• Support scrap processes, BER and goods lost in transit.
• Maintain accurate materials data and records.
• Produce and distribute SAP reports.
• Manage Stock Transport Order (STO) books.
• Create and maintain part numbers.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
