Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is seeking a Stock Control & Purchasing Coordinator in Shrewsbury to own inventory control, raise POs, and coordinate supplier relationships. You will monitor stock levels, manage purchasing from quotations to delivery, and ensure accurate SAP records.

Ideal candidates will have SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent organisation to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, purchasing, procurement, or materials management.
• SAP or similar ERP system experience.
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and raise purchase orders.
• Manage the purchasing process from supplier quotations to order placement and delivery.
• Use SAP to maintain inventory records, process orders, and supplier goods receipts.
• Liaise with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimising excess and obsolete stock.
• Produce stock, purchasing, and supplier reports using SAP and Excel.
• Collaborate with warehouse, finance and operations to ensure smooth processes.
