Job summary

Ordnance Survey is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with our Technology leadership, shaping workforce plans and embedding change across the Tech 2030 strategy. You will coach senior leaders, manage complex employee relations, and work with the People Team to build capability and culture.

Hybrid role based in Southampton with four days on-site. The role requires strong data literacy, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate strategy into concrete people actions

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an HR Business Partner in a technology function or large organisation.
• Proven ability to lead senior teams through strategic workforce planning and cultural change.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and handling complex cases with leaders.
• Excellent coaching, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnering to turn Tech 2030 strategy into people priorities and plans.
• Lead strategic workforce planning and modelling of future headcount with finance.
• Shape culture and change, embedding a services model across product, data and customer teams.
• Provide coaching to technology leadership and support People Team initiatives.
• Use HR metrics to inform decisions and measure impact of interventions.
• Handle complex employee relations cases with a focus on business outcomes.
