Job summary

ADI Global Distribution seeks a Lead HR Business Partner for our International Head Office in Oldham, Manchester. You will act as a strategic partner to local leadership, aligning people initiatives with business objectives and driving organisational effectiveness.

The role requires strong HR business partner experience across regions, excellent stakeholder management, and hands-on delivery of people plans while collaborating with global HR teams.

Qualifications

• Progressive HR experience including business partnering across multiple regions or countries.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation, partnering with leaders and HR CoE.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent development, organisational change and employee engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills; able to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, self-motivated; able to work independently and drive initiatives through to completion.
• Proven ability to deliver HR initiatives from concept to implementation with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local leadership to understand business objectives, dynamics, and talent needs.
• Advise managers on HR matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.
• Develop and implement people plans that support business priorities and growth.
• Collaborate with global HR teams to align policies and initiatives across regions.
• Support organisational change initiatives and manage transitions.
• Drive employee engagement and retention through effective communication and initiatives.
• Lead or support HR projects across the business.
• Identify HR trends and opportunities and address them with leadership.
• Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations and disputes.
• Support recruitment for key regional roles with hiring managers.
• Analyze HR metrics to assess program effectiveness and inform decisions.
• Stay updated on employment laws and ensure local compliance.
