Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Nottingham is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Manager on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract to lead the HRSS function with a focus on delivery, transformation, governance and data-driven service across the employee lifecycle.

You will build capability, drive continuous improvement, manage resource planning, and partner with HR stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant and high-quality HR services for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HR Shared Services in a fast-paced organisation.
• Background in HR transformation and process redesign.
• Experience delivering governance and stakeholder engagement on large projects.
• Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes and SLAs.
• Proficiency in HR data, analytics and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HRSS function daily with clear priorities and SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence and scalable HR processes.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex HRSS queries.
• Coach and develop the HRSS team with a culture of accountability.
• Lead HR transformation projects and adoption of new tools.
• Use dashboards and analytics to monitor performance and forecast demand.
• Build strong relationships with senior HR stakeholders and operations.
• Plan resource allocation and capacity forecasting during change.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HRSS processes.
• Support integration of new entities and service changes.
