Job summary

University of Cambridge is seeking an HR Reporting and Information Analyst (Fixed Term) to join the HR Analytics team. The role focuses on delivering management information from HR systems to senior managers, with emphasis on preparing REF-related data and statutory returns.

You will gather requirements, create reports and visualisations using Power BI, Cognos, MS Fabric, and Excel, and work with UIS to deliver accurate data extracts within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to gather end-user reporting requirements.
• Strong data manipulation and analytical skills in a Microsoft environment.
• Experience using reporting tools for enterprise system reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for report design.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document end user reporting requirements.
• Develop new reports and dynamic data visualisations using Power BI, Cognos, MS Fabric, Excel.
• Specify new data extracts from live systems and coordinate with UIS to ensure data validity.
• Deliver information to quality standards and tight schedules for REF and statutory returns.
