Job summary

M&G Procurement is seeking a Category Manager for HR, Recruitment and Contingent, based in either London or Stirling. You will own the category strategy, lead complex negotiations and drive substantial cost reductions while partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-border teams.

The role requires deep category knowledge, strategic sourcing capability and strong negotiating skills to influence vendor choices and governance forums.

Qualifications

• Substantial category management or strategic sourcing experience with measurable savings.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and ability to influence decisions.
• Strong financial judgement including TCO and should-cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy for HR, Recruitment and Contingent spend.
• Lead high-value sourcing events, negotiations and supplier relations.
• Develop baselines, savings methodologies and reporting to Finance.
• Coach and develop regional procurement teams in UK and India.
