Job summary

Think FE Ltd is recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to join a Worcestershire college, based in Kidderminster with occasional travel to Lancashire. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time, offering a salary between £43,300 and £52,600 per year.

You will provide strategic and operational HR advice, support organisational development and help deliver positive outcomes for colleagues and the wider college community. Occasional travel and overnight stays are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Substantial experience in a generalist HR role at HRBP or senior HR advisory level.
• Strong experience managing complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance).
• Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and TUPE transfers.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience developing, implementing and interpreting HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR guidance to senior leaders and managers.
• Manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
• Support organisational change, restructures and TUPE transfers as required.
• Advise on employment law, HR policies and best practice to ensure compliance.
• Develop positive relationships with leadership teams and trade unions.
• Support recruitment, retention and workforce development initiatives.
• Use HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Coach managers on people management and leadership development.
