Job summary

Comex 2000 is seeking a strategic and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our growing HR team. The role is ideal for an experienced HRBP who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works closely with senior leaders to drive business performance through people.

You will partner with leaders to deliver effective people strategies, guide HR initiatives, and shape the employee experience while supporting growth across the Midlands and North. Travel 1–2 days weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HR Business Partner in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR transformation and change projects.
• Ability to influence at all levels while maintaining confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel as needed (1–2 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders and deliver aligned people plans.
• Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations, performance, and complex matters.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and organisational performance through HR initiatives.
• Support and lead performance management processes, including goals and reviews.
• Analyse HR metrics and workforce trends to inform planning.
• Lead organisational design and workforce planning activities.
• Deliver HR programmes such as talent management, succession planning, L&D and D&I.
• Collaborate with Finance on headcount planning and labour cost management.
• Champion continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
• Participate in HR transformation and change projects and cross-functional work.
