Job summary

Opus Perm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with Senior Leaders in our East Midlands division. The role focuses on coaching, training, and empowering managers to drive the People Making the Difference strategy and support operational objectives, rather than day-to-day administration.

Qualifications

• Solid HR business partner experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence and partner with senior management across the organisation.
• Experience with change management initiatives and programmes.
• Comfortable having difficult and challenging conversations.
• Confident communicator at all levels across the business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to deliver goals aligned to the 5 Year Business Plan and People Making the Difference strategy.
• Provide proactive, value-added coaching and support to partnered service areas on medium to long-term operational people challenges and change management.
• Challenge, coach and influence leaders to drive a high-performing culture and build capability.
• Lead on talent and succession planning using the 9-box methodology and run People Forums.
• Provide guidance on complex casework in operational areas and partner with OD and Careers teams on talent and recruitment initiatives.
• Champion wellbeing and promote the Groups total rewards benefits, including employee support schemes.
• Develop strong relationships with leadership teams and act as a trusted partner for the business areas.
• Coach and guide People Advisors within the East Midlands and collaborate with People Shared Service teams.
• Support embedding a positive culture and escalate people risks to the Associate Director of People.
• Work with East Midlands Operational Leadership, OD and Careers to ensure remuneration and reward decisions are executed.
• Promote the business areas as an employer of choice and reinforce leadership ownership of people management.
• Occasional travel to Head Office in Ipswich.
