Job summary

Comex 2000 is seeking a strategic and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our growing HR team. This hands-on role partners with senior leaders to drive business performance through people, shaping employee experience and engagement across the Midlands and North with regular travel.

You will deliver talent management, succession planning, learning & development, and D&I initiatives while collaborating with finance on headcount and budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Experience as HRBP partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in employee relations, talent and performance management.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and compliance.
  • Proven track record delivering HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, driving HR transformation and change.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner with senior leaders to align people plans with priorities.
  • Provide expert HR advice and coaching on employee relations, performance management, and complex issues.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organisational performance through HR initiatives.
  • Support and lead performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
  • Analyse HR metrics and workforce trends to inform decisions and planning.
  • Lead organisational design and workforce planning, including role clarity.
  • Deliver HR programmes in talent management, succession planning, learning & development, and D&I.
  • Partner with Finance on headcount planning, budgeting, and labour cost management.
  • Champion continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Lead HR transformation and change projects, including culture initiatives and system implementations.

We’re now looking for astrategic and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)to join our growing HR team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders to drive business performance through people.

As atrusted HR partner, you will collaborate with functional leaders to deliver effective people strategies, provide expert HR guidance, and support organisational growth. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, driving engagement, and ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives.

Covering key regions across the Midlands and the North, this is ahighly visible, hands-on HRBP rolewith regular travel (1–2 days per week, including occasional overnight stays) to build strong relationships and stay close to the workforce.

What you’ll do

  • Championcontinuous improvementby identifying opportunities to enhance HR processes and systems
  • Lead and contribute toHR transformation and change projects, including cultural initiatives and system implementations
  • Build strongcross-functional relationshipsto ensure consistency and best practice across HR and the wider business
Requirements
