Job summary

Zero Waste Scotland is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to deliver a proactive, people-centred HR service across the organisation. You will advise senior leaders, lead employee relations, and ensure compliant application of employment law and policies.

You will use people data to drive decisions and improve the colleague experience. Working with the People Partner, you will contribute to the People Strategy and help deliver initiatives across the employee lifecycle with a strategic mindset and

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management, HR Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in a generalist HR Advisory role.
• Chartered MCIPD or working towards (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of employment law, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience in managing and developing people.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with data-informed decisions.
• Strategic mindset with ability to propose innovative HR solutions across a wide remit.
• Demonstrable experience of Employee Engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
