Job summary

Jersey Electricity seeks a Head of Internal Audit and Risk to lead its internal audit and risk management functions, providing independent assurance and robust oversight across the Group. The postholder ensures effective governance, strengthens internal controls and supports informed decision making through the identification and management of strategic, operational, financial and regulatory risks.

The role leads the internal audit team and any co-sourced audit arrangements, overseeing delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in organisational review, risk management or controls.
• Experience at senior leadership level is required.
• Professional qualification related to internal auditing or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Jersey Electricity's internal audit and risk management functions.
• Provide independent assurance and robust oversight across the Group.
• Advise the Audit and Risk Committee and senior leadership on governance and controls.
• Oversee delivery of the Internal Audit Plan and co-sourced arrangements as needed.
• Identify, assess and manage strategic, operational, financial and regulatory risks.
