Jersey Electricity is seeking a Head of Internal Audit and Risk to lead the group’s assurance functions from its St. Helier base. The role focuses on governance, risk identification, assessment and robust controls across the business.

You will oversee the internal audit team, co-sourced arrangements, and advise the Audit and Risk Committee to support informed decision making for strategic decisions across the Group.

Qualifikationen

• Typically, 10 or more years’ proven experience in organisational review, risk management or controls.
• Professional qualification related to internal auditing or risk management.

The Head of Internal Audit and Risk is responsible for leading Jersey Electricity's internal audit and risk management functions, providing independent assurance and robust oversight across the Group. The role ensures effective governance, strengthens internal controls and supports informed decision making through the identification, assessment and management of strategic, operational, financial and regulatory risks. The postholder leads the internal audit team and any co-sourced audit arrangements, oversees delivery of the approved Internal Audit Plan and acts as a key adviser to the Audit and Risk Committee.

Required skills:

• Typically, 10 or more years’ proven experience in organisational review, risk management or controls, including several years at senior leadership level.
• Professional qualification related to internal auditing or risk management.
