Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a highly commercial FP&A & Strategic Finance Lead to partner with the CFO and guide growth. You will own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis in a fast-paced environment, building a scalable function and a robust source of truth for KPIs and performance drivers.

This hands‑on role offers exposure to senior leadership, with potential to grow into a leadership position as the business scales and funds initiatives with robust financial insight.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance or similar analytics.
• Experience in a commercial business environment with budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills required.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across functions.
• Experience with FP&A technology and reporting tools preferred.
• Experience in high-growth or scaling businesses advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable FP&A processes, systems and reporting capabilities to support growth.
• Own the annual budgeting and forecasting process and lead reforecasting.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital planning and liquidity.
• Deliver monthly performance reporting, KPI analysis and variance reporting.
• Provide commercial and strategic financial insight to senior leadership.
• Drive cross-functional projects across operations, engineering, supply chain and commercial teams.
• Prepare board packs, management reports and investor presentations.
• Support fundraising, due diligence and investor requests.
