Job summary

SEPHORA UK is seeking a Forecasting Manager - Strategic Projects to shape sales and margin forecasts across our omnichannel portfolio. You will partner with Omni Trading, E-commerce, Retail, Finance and Supply Chain to drive accurate, insight‑led projections and align them with trading strategies and budgets.

The role demands analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence leadership decisions in a fast‑paced beauty business.

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting, merchandising, planning, or a similar analytics role in omni‑channel retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of trading performance and KPIs.
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actions.
• Experience using forecasting, planning and reporting tools to support commercial decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial forecasting and analysis across strategic business projects.
• Build sales forecasts by brand by channel, partnering with Retail, Finance and Category teams.
• Create daily, monthly and full-year forecasts aligned with trading plans.
• Translate forecasts into operational order forecasts for Supply Chain planning.
• Present forecasts to senior leadership, outlining expectations, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify insights and support decisions.
• Collaborate on margin forecasts by channel and advise on promotions and loyalty.
• Partner with BI to harmonize campaign performance and trading activity.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgets and in‑year forecasting cycles.
• Analyze retail productivity and share insights with Category teams.
• Support wider forecasting, reporting and analytics projects.
