Job summary

Reed is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its finance team in Dartford. The role combines financial reporting with planning and analysis, supporting senior management and driving informed business decisions.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work with finance and operations to enhance reporting accuracy, budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong technical accounting and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in a fast-paced finance environment with deadlines.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Exposure to FP&A, including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and analyse financial performance.
• Produce financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Support annual statutory accounts and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to strengthen governance and reporting controls.
• Prepare information for group tax and reporting packs.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and efficiency.
