Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with deadlines-focused experience.
• Experience in fast-paced finance environment.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Exposure to FP&A activities including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial sector is advantageous.
• Proven ability to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Strong systems, analytical, and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful analysis.
• Produce detailed financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Assist in annual statutory accounts and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and controls.
• Strengthen governance and reporting controls with the finance team.
• Prepare reporting packs for group tax and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Engineering to improve forecast accuracy.
• Build and maintain financial models for decision-making.
• Analyse margins, costs, revenue trends, and working capital.
• Provide insights to support cash flow forecasting and ROI evaluations.
