Job summary

Reed is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in Dartford (DA1) to join the finance team. The role combines financial reporting with planning and analysis to support senior management and drive informed business decisions.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work with finance and operations across the organisation, contributing to performance, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in a fast-paced finance environment with strict deadlines.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Exposure to FP&A activities including budgeting and forecasting.
• Manufacturing/industrial sector experience advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and provide insightful analysis of financial performance.
• Produce detailed financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to strengthen governance and reporting controls.
• Prepare information and reporting packs for group tax and financial reporting purposes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and improve efficiency.
