Job summary

Berry Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to join a purpose-driven organisation in Truro. This is a senior role overseeing the finance function, managing day-to-day activities including payroll, ledgers, reporting and controls, and partnering with the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, strong budgeting and forecasting skills, and experience with financial reporting. A hybrid working arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Coordinate annual accounts and audit processes.
• Ensure statutory financial reporting and robust internal controls.
