Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a purpose-driven organisation in a hybrid role. You will manage day-to-day finance functions, prepare reports, and support strategic decision-making with financial insight.

This senior role collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team and Board, overseeing budgeting, cash flow, audits, and regulatory reporting while maintaining robust controls and partnerships with external stakeholders.

Competenze

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in financial management, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in charity/not-for-profit or similar environment desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day finance function including payroll, payables and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and analyses.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Monitor financial performance, risks and opportunities.
• Provide financial insight to support strategic decisions.
• Develop financial models and support long-term planning.
• Lead annual accounts and audit process.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Oversee grant/restricted income and reporting.
• Maintain robust financial controls and policies.
• Support Board reporting and relationships with auditors and external stakeholders.
