Trial Balance are recruiting a Financial Controller for their Cornwall-based site. This broad, hands-on role provides full oversight of the finance function with a commercially focused remit to strengthen reporting and controls across a multi-entity environment.

You will own month-end/year-end close, IFRS 15 reporting, audits, and cashflow management while leading a small finance team and partnering with project and operations teams.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accounting professional with strong reporting and controls experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or project-based environments and audits.
• Hands-on, strategic finance leader with ERP experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end close, board reporting and IFRS 15 contract accounting.
• Maintain financial controls, policies and balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee statutory compliance, audits, VAT, CIS and tax reporting.
• Manage cashflow, working capital, debtors/suppliers and FX.
• Oversee inventory, WIP and project profitability reporting.
• Support system improvements and D365 optimisation.
• Lead and develop a small finance team; partner with operations and projects.
