Office Angels in Guildford is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, control frameworks, and budgeting. The role offers a permanent, full-time slot with potential hybrid work and a lively, growth-oriented team.

The successful candidate will drive cash flow, manage audits, and mentor the finance team while collaborating with departments to improve performance and profitability. Prior ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA desirable.
• Proven experience as Financial Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Implementing robust financial controls and policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Leading the budgeting process and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborating with departments to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Managing cash flow and financial planning to support growth objectives.
• Mentoring and developing the finance team to peak performance.
• Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits.
