Job summary

Teneo is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Advisory professional to join its global advisory team in the United Kingdom. You will work with boards, management teams, lenders and shareholders on underperforming entities and those facing financial stress.

You will lead engagement delivery, drive business plans and cash flow forecasting, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver improved working capital, debt/insolvency analysis, and value-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in financial advisory within professional services, consultancy or investment bank.
• Understanding of debt markets, loan agreements and related financial/legal documentation.
• Knowledge of financial statements and ability to assess historical performance and future outlook.
• Strong analytical abilities including business analytics, planning and cash flow.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare engagement letters and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support MD/Director in managing external stakeholders and engagement parts.
• Assist management with business plans, short-term cash flow forecasts and Financial Advisory plans.
• Provide financial restructuring and cash management services to improve working capital.
• Stress-test business plans, budgeting, forecasting models, KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop and enhance company finance functions and processes.
• Present Financial Advisory options with inputs from other teams; liaise with legal for documentation.
• Manage insolvency cases and multi-jurisdictional asset recovery actions.
• Lead market development and client account activities.
