Job summary

Teneo is seeking a Manager/Associate Director to lead financial advisory engagements in the UK, working with boards, lenders and management teams. You will guide restructuring projects, manage junior staff, and help directors deliver client solutions across sectors.

The role offers broad exposure to advisory work, including cash management, forecasting, and insolvency-related activities, with a focus on developing client relationships and leading delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Restructuring experience gained in advisory, consultancy or banking.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and assess performance and outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts of engagements, lead junior staff, and support senior leaders in client delivery.
• Provide comprehensive financial restructuring and cash management recommendations.
• Stress-test business plans, budgets and forecasts using data-driven approaches.
• Develop and present Financial Advisory options using cross-team input.
• Deliver high-quality deliverables within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate with legal advisors on key documentation and processes.
• Lead aspects of insolvency strategies and activity, ensuring compliance.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
