medac Pharma is seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic adviser, delivering financial insight, analysis, and decision support to drive performance and growth across the UK and Europe.

The role bridges finance and operations, partnering with Sales and Marketing to analyse revenue, margins, and profitability, and to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Power Query and Power BI experience needed.
• PowerPoint skills.
• Self-starter.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work towards tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to deliver insightful analysis on revenue, margins, pricing, and profitability.
• Analyse sales performance by product, channel, customer, and region to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs including revenue growth, gross margin, discount levels, and customer acquisition metrics.
• Provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year performance.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Challenge and influence stakeholders to drive performance.
• Prepare and post month-end journals and assist balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support audit processes and respond to audit queries.
