Job summary

Ohme is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate in the UK to support the leadership team with strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives, and executive decision-making. You will join the Corporate Development & Strategy team, working with high autonomy on day-to-day tasks and senior oversight on important outputs.

You will build trackers, deliver financial analyses, improve FP&A processes, and own KPI reporting, dashboards and strategy documents for internal and external use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role (consulting, IB, corporate strategy or high-growth startup preferred).
• Strong communicator with ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across teams.
• Commercial mindset with pragmatic problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL/BI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and resource planning: build trackers, flag variances, escalate risks.
• Support Strategic Business Partnering: prepare financial analyses for stakeholders.
• Help improve FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as we scale.
• Own KPI tracking and produce regular business updates.
• Build presentations, dashboards and strategy documents, with review before external use.
• Conduct financial, strategic and market analysis on energy/EV sectors as defined by senior team.
