Job summary

Morgan Ryder is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead finance across two UK businesses, working closely with the MD and SLT to strengthen financial control and enable strategic decision-making. The role is hands-on with responsibility for close, IFRS, statutory accounts, costing, inventory and working capital.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance in a multisite manufacturing environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning capabilities.
• Experience with IFRS, VAT, statutory accounts and external audit.
• Proven ability to analyse costs, margins and working capital.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/annual close, reporting and IFRS compliance.
• Manage stock, inventory and production costing.
• Lead ERP/system improvements and financial process controls.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive commercial decisions.
• Develop and mentor finance teams across sites.
