Job summary

EA First is seeking a Financial Controller to join the leadership team and work closely with the Managing Director to drive growth in a £20m turnover manufacturing business. This is an office-based role with responsibility for the finances across the group and a small finance team.

You will lead monthly management accounts, budgeting, audits and compliance, provide strategic financial guidance, and mentor the finance team to support long-term stability and expansion.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in manufacturing
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
• Proven experience in managing a finance team

Responsibilities

• Advising the Board/CEO on financial performance and investment appraisal
• Monthly Management Accounts with commentary, annual accounts, audits
• Lead budgeting process and rolling forecasts
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax
• Mentor and manage the internal finance team
• Oversee treasury and funds management
