Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for its UK manufacturing operations. The role reports to the Managing Director and combines strong financial control with commercial business partnering to improve performance.

You will own month-end and year-end reporting, drive budgeting and forecasting, manage cash flow, and lead a small finance team. Hybrid working is considered; highly visible role with senior stakeholdership.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in a financial controller role or senior finance position.
• Manufacturing or multi-site environment experience.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, audit and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end, year-end, and group reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet controls and timely financial information.
• Provide financial insight and commercial analysis to senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.
• Drive working capital management and internal controls.
• Lead external statutory accounts and audit process.
• Develop and coach the finance team of 4.
