Job summary

EA First in the United Kingdom is seeking a Financial Controller to join the leadership team and work closely with the Managing Director to support growth of the £20m-plus manufacturing business. You will run the finances, oversee financial reporting for multiple divisions, lead budgeting and forecasting, ensure statutory compliance, and mentor a small finance team from an office-based environment.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with manufacturing experience preferred, to drive long-term stability and

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional with manufacturing experience.
• Experience running finances of a manufacturing business.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Experienced manager of a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Advising the Board/CEO on financial performance and growth investments.
• Monthly management accounts with commentary and audits oversight.
• Leading budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Ensuring statutory compliance, taxation and regulatory reporting.
• Mentoring and managing the internal finance team.
• Overseeing treasury, debt and company funds.
