Job summary

The Post Office is seeking an Enterprise Risk & Assurance Partner to strengthen governance, risk culture, and assurance across the organisation. You will lead ERM and Integrated Assurance initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to improve risk-informed decision making and reporting.

You will role-model Post Office behaviours, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across Second and Third line assurance functions to deliver a cohesive risk framework and reporting suite.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and enhancing risk frameworks aligned to recognised principles (ISO31000, COSO)
• Design and deployment of risk tools and practices delivering actionable insight
• Trusted advisor to senior leadership influencing strategic planning and transformation programs
• Strong audit/assurance background with knowledge of control concepts and SOx/RCSA
• Leading targeted reviews and risk and control strategies across the organisation
• Experience with Integrated Assurance and cross-functional governance initiatives
• Proficient in reporting risk to governance forums using common tools

Responsibilities

• Lead development and embedding of Enterprise Risk Management and Integrated Assurance frameworks.
• Partner with senior leaders to strengthen risk-informed decision-making and governance.
• Drive a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance within risk teams.
• Roll out assurance plans, report material risks to governance forums, and strengthen reporting tools.
