Job summary

Post Office Ltd is seeking an Enterprise Risk & Assurance Partner in London to lead the development and embedding of ERM and assurance frameworks. You will partner with senior leaders to strengthen risk-informed decision-making and governance, driving continuous improvement across teams.

The role requires strong expertise in risk, assurance, and internal controls, with hands-on experience in GRC tools like ServiceNow and Power BI. A hybrid working pattern and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent with a professional qualification (IRM, IIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience in owning and enhancing risk frameworks (ERM) aligned to ISO31000, COSO.
• Trusted advisor to senior leadership influencing strategic planning.
• Audit assurance background with SOx knowledge and RCSA.
• Experience leading risk and assurance reviews.
• Design of new assurance methodologies aligned to governance.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and Integrated Assurance.
• Hands-on with GRC tools and reporting (ServiceNow, Power BI).
• Ability to present clear reports on material risks to governance forums.
• Proven track record with continuous improvement and training stakeholders.
• Proficient MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
• Experience building cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Delivery of projects achieving objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management and Integrated Assurance frameworks across POL.
• Drive a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement and high performance.
• Deliver targeted assurance reviews and integrate risk reporting for decision-making.
• Coordinate with governance forums (Risk & Compliance Committee, ARAC) on material risks.
• Collaborate with Second/Third line assurance for cohesive risk governance.
• Role-model Post Office behaviours and Postmaster-first mindset.
