Job summary

Post Office is seeking an accomplished Risk and Assurance Director (interim) to lead enterprise risk management, risk governance and controls across the organisation. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will drive a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on strategic risk and governance excellence.

You will influence senior stakeholders, oversee risk analysis and reporting, and ensure alignment with regulatory and governance requirements in a large, complex environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise risk management.
• Designing, implementing and embedding risk management frameworks.
• Experience supporting Boards and Executives with risk reporting.
• Experience operating within a three-lines model with second-line oversight.
• Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/IRM or equivalent.

• Provide independent risk insight and governance oversight to support decisions.
