Personal Group is seeking a senior risk leader to head the in-house Risk function, ensuring the effectiveness of the Risk Management System and clear second line oversight across enterprise, prudential and reporting risks. The role works with Finance and Compliance teams and reports to the CRO with a dotted line to the CFO for non-regulatory risk matters.

The successful candidate will shape risk governance, drive the RMF, and ensure risk management is embedded across the organisation, including

Qualifications

• Broad risk knowledge gained through senior management experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong insurance risk management experience with Solvency II, prudential risk and ORSA.
• Experience building, embedding and updating Risk Management Frameworks and policies.
• Experience analysing information and data to identify trends and propose actions.
• Experience partnering with Finance on controls, reporting and prudential processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, implementation and operation of Personal Group's Risk Management System.
• Maintain and develop the Risk Management Framework, policies, processes and reporting standards.
• Embed risk management across the organisation from operations to strategy.
• Ensure risk appetite, limits and escalation routes are clearly articulated and applied.
• Provide robust second-line challenge to first-line risk owners and monitor emerging risks.
