Amentum is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape client IT infrastructures and align architectures with business goals across Critical National Infrastructure and Defence sectors in the UK. You will influence stakeholders and guide architecture governance while driving long-term IT strategy and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, CS, information systems) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to architect complex solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; ability to influence at all levels.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client business strategy and objectives to identify critical success factors for IT contribution.
• Evaluate and improve client IT infrastructure, hardware, software and network components.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models showing business processes, data flows and technology components.
• Formulate long-term IT strategies aligned with business goals and plan future investments.
• Guide IT projects to align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advise adoption strategies.
• Communicate with stakeholders across client organisations to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• Identify IT-related risks and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Continuously improve architectures to stay aligned with evolving business needs.
