Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our growing IT security team in the United Kingdom. You will design and oversee robust security architectures across ICT capabilities, ensuring alignment with the client’s business strategy and technology goals.

Responsibilities include threat management, security solution evaluation, policy development, and incident response planning. Strong communication with senior stakeholders and in-depth knowledge of standards (e.g.,

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex security challenges.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Designing Security Architecture with oversight of security architectures for ICT capabilities.
• Strategic Alignment to client business strategy and technology goals.
• Threat and Vulnerability Management including risk analyses and security assessments.
• Security Solution Design and Evaluation of technologies to mitigate threats.
• Policy and Procedure Development ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and best practices.
• Incident Response and Management planning and coordination.
• Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration with senior management.
