Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our IT team, shaping clients’ IT infrastructures to align with business goals. You will ensure systems and processes support long-term objectives across Critical National Infrastructure and Defence sectors.

The role requires 5+ years in Defence or CNI IT, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record in producing clear technical documentation. You will work with senior stakeholders to deliver robust, future-ready architectures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ business strategy and objectives to identify IT contribution areas.
• Evaluate existing IT infrastructure and identify improvements.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models covering processes, data, and tech.
• Formulate long-term IT strategies and roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Guide IT projects to align with enterprise architecture and objectives.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess adoption strategies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the client organisation.
• Identify IT-related risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
