Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior HR Partner to act as the UK HR lead, guiding managers through the employee lifecycle and delivering expert employment law support. You will partner with Technology and Product during change, coach on performance and development, and manage engagement surveys to drive improvements across a fast-growing tech environment.

You will work autonomously, travel to Belgium quarterly, and contribute to compensation discussions while aligning with global People initiatives.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as an HR professional, including solid experience as a People Business Partner.
• Experience in scale-ups or fast-paced Tech/SaaS environments preferred.
• Proven success in performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and offboarding.
• Experience supporting organisational change is a plus.
• Strong use of HR data to inform decisions and stakeholder conversations.
• Experience working in an international context and UK employment practices.
• Ability to work autonomously as sole HR presence in a location.
• Willingness to travel to Belgium roughly once a quarter.
• Available for a 12-month assignment starting early January 2027 through end of January 2028.
• Solid coaching and advisory skills, change management, communication and influencing.
• Good stakeholder management skills and high interpersonal awareness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to managers on people strategy, organisational design, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Tech and Product leaders during organisational change, including team structures, role changes, reskilling, and change communication.
• Guide managers through the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Coach managers on performance management, talent development, feedback, and career conversations.
• Oversee biannual performance review cycles and deliver tailored manager training.
• Manage the Peakon engagement survey programme end-to-end, including survey cycles, analysis, follow-up actions, and deep-dive reviews.
• Stay aligned with DEI, Health & Wellbeing, and Culture Champs programmes.
• Act as the primary UK HR contact and support employee-relations casework, including performance, disciplinary processes, workplace adjustments, and sensitive matters.
• Provide UK employment law expertise to the wider People team.
• Improve HR data usage and reporting to generate stakeholder insights.
• Help organise Leadership Days and AI impact workshops.
• Support transformation in Technology and Product.
• Advise on compensation, salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits.
• Partner with People, Finance, and other teams to streamline processes and improve employee experience.
• Report to the Head of People and collaborate with the international People team.
