Job summary

Zachary Daniels is partnering with a well-established, people-focused business to appoint an Employee Relations Advisor to join their growing People team.

In this role you will advise on investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management, and other ER cases, while coaching managers to apply best practice and stay compliant with UK employment law.

You will build relationships with managers, identify trends, and contribute to consistent, fair outcomes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience handling a broad range of ER cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and guide managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of ER matters from initial advice to resolution.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence processes.
• Provide practical guidance on employment law and HR best practice.
• Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence in handling people issues.
• Support investigations, hearings and appeals where required.
• Identify trends and work with the People team on solutions.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure a consistent and fair approach to employee relations matters.
