Job summary

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is seeking a Director of Maritime Infrastructure & Facilities in London to lead the Maritime Infrastructure Department and oversee all assets, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle maintenance.

The role requires strategic oversight, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive safe, efficient operations across all Thames Clipper locations. On-call responsibilities and collaboration with senior leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive maritime knowledge with leadership experience in a marine/port environment.
• Experience delivering safe, reliable operations with customer service focus.
• Ability to manage regulators and third-party relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maritime Infrastructure Department and ensure training, processes, and risk assessments are in place.
• Manage maintenance, assets, and life-cycle planning for piers and related infrastructure.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, and contract management for the department.
• Coordinate with tenants, landlords, and third parties to meet service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Provide operational insight for pier and infrastructure design and development.
• Represent the department in coordinating with other units and Helicox? (as applicable).
